Jaw dropping shocking service in this store. Worst experience in a store of my life. Left crying twice and wake up at night thinking about it. Been a loyal customer for 5+ years. I was bullied by the employees and received no help from customer service. I am still so stunned from this experience and will never ever spend another dime again and will continue to spread the word to prevent others from having to endure a traumatic experience like i have.
I become a member of new to me Cosmoprof beauty supply last year and I have to say that I ordered few times in the store which was great but online ordering is just weird.
They let you purchase stuff which you think you will get but no... instead they send you email after you pay that they are out of stuck of product. It make me mad because they shouldn't let you buy products which are out of stuck.
I ordered shampoo and conditioner and instead of getting shampoo I got two conditioners which one is half used
I try to call customer service but they put me on hold for so long.

First, my experience@ 2 different local locations one@ Colonel Glenn in Beavercreek Ohio manager Jackie, Second, Wilmington Pike Centerville Ohio, manager Jeff - These managers are good to work with, staff as well. Now for my personal experience per corporate can't say the same. I wrote my review earlier in 2021 directly to them! Not my local stores. However, corporate did finally refund me frozen account because of a Amber not doing her job! Period. To get positive high quality service the CEO should check up on The human resource department on what idiots they're hiring. 80% of ALL successful businesses sores because of great upper management that being said 85% businesses fail because of lazy upper management, so ladies and gentlemen in the beauty world we will see which way the ball bounces in the near future! Lots of horrible reviews on here. What happens IF love & integrity was applied here? I always apply it in my business. It's standard! Upper management that is getting paid the "most money" in corporate Cosmo is absolutely the one that has to make the positive change in the good stuff and bad stuff always starts at the top and rolls downhill. Maybe... your next board meeting should be decisions being the difference we stylist need! God bless ur steps, for the steps of a Good man or woman is always ordered by Holy Jesus. Every time bed head duos are on sale the company only sends a few and every store I go to is almost always out! I called customer service and the man was so rude and unhelpful!
Have been going here for 9 years now and i will never be going back. The employees are rude and no help at all. Bought clippers which were defective right out of the box and was told they do not take returns. Asked her if they had another pair and there was literally nothing on their shelves. Wish i could give a 0
I see other reviews saying they were bullied. Yes I can agree 100%. Phoenix Arizona 75ave and Thomas location 3/2/21.11am. The RUDEST employee over. Refused to sell to me because I was using the cosmoprof account that my husband and I got under our salon business. If she couldn't sell to me fine whatever even though I've been using that cosmoprof card for the past 5 years with ZERO problems. But the fact that she was incredibly RUDE and unapologetic was the disgusting part. And I knew something wasn't right as soon as I walked through the doors. I walked in and she NEVER came out front to acknowledge that I had walked in. Anyone could've walked in just to steal products and she wouldn't have cared. She never greeted me or even looked up. Finally I walked up to the register and said Hi and she never said one word. She had the most horrible attitude. It looked like I had bothered her by walking into the store and interrupted her from doing nothing out in the back. I've gone to this location before and the girls are always nice but this woman was the worst I have ever come across. She had long black hair, Hispanic, with fake eyelashes on. Working on the morning of March 2nd 11am. The worst part of it is my 7year old daughter was with me and had to witness this trash service. Shame on you Cosmoprof for hiring people who don't appreciate having a job and dislike helping people.
Recently purchased a GHD Helios dryer from the Cosmoprof website when it was on sale for $143.20. The first time I plugged it in it smelled like something was burning and the high heat setting began shooting cold air. GHD dryers are generally awesome and well built, but it appears I got stuck with a dud, and Cosmoprof refused to issue a refund or exchange, because their return policy states that a product can only be returned if it is "unopened". The advice given to me by the customer service (ha) rep was essentially, "take it up with the manufacturer" (pic included with review as proof).
While this makes sense for haircolor or shampoo, this is a ridiculous policy for styling tools. How do you know if it works unless you open the box and plug it in? Obviously, this policy enables them to sell defective or broken merchandise without having to accept responsibility. You'd get better odds buying used equipment at a yard sale!
I've had similar unhappy experiences with CHI flat irons and Wahl trimmers purchased at Cosmoprof in recent years, but truth be told, I would always just "grin and bear it" because I had a soft spot for this company-- I've been buying from them for most of the 20 years I've been in the salon industry. But things have gotten so bad the past few years that I can't in good conscience recommend this company to my colleagues or co-workers. It's harder than ever to make a living as a stylist, and licensed cosmetologists deserve better. But, hey, on the bright side, I now have a $143.00 paperweight.
Whenever I go in to a cosmoprof, they never seem to know any of the products they sell. They also have price stickers missing often. I've gotten a $20 brush for cheap because it wasn't labeled correctly. Very unprofessional.
I have had a late charge every month for the last three months because of an error that the bank made, I have called every month and I have been assured that it has been corrected however the following month again I have another late charge I finally had to pay them $13 I didn't know them just to close the account don't open account with this company it is a terrible experience and we don't need this at this time of our lives during Covid when we've been shut down most of the time!
I recently purchased a Paul Mitchell holiday set to give as a gift. Once home, I realized that the shampoo cap was broken off, and the set looked as though it had already been returned. I brought it back to exchange for the EXACT same thing and was told that I couldn't because of COVID restrictions. I could at a later date (Jan. 2nd). This was a gift that I purchased that was damaged at the store! Apparently there is a cure for COVID on January 2nd that I hadn't heard about and only cosmoprof knows about! Or is it the end of their fiscal year and they don't want to show less on their year end report?! There are plenty of beauty supplies out there with fair return policies, shop at one of them!
We purchased a clipper from the local CosmoProf store and the clipper was defective right out of the box. Between the clipper, combs, and protection plan, we spend nearly $300 on it. Because of the return policy, we are not allowed to return the defective product even though it is brand new and within the 60 days of purchase. We have to work with the manufacture instead. I strongly recommend never purchasing anything from CosmoProf.
I have had problem after problem with CosmoProf and recently with commenity. Hours trying to clear up my charge issue. Totally their fault and they have lied to me and to my mortgage company we are fully disgusted with them I will not step it in there again
All the time i go to leesburg va store the site says OPEN but is close mostly sunday this is crazy..
I am very disappointed in Cosmo Prof and their customer service! I have been a customer for many years. I placed an order September 5th, it is now September 23rd. I have received partial shipment with no indication when I would receive the rest of my shipment. I have tried to call on 2 different occasions and was on hold so long that I had to hang up. I emailed customer service 2 days ago and have not received any response. That is VERY poor customer service.
